About Cornerstone
Cornerstone Communications, headquartered in Charleston, Maine, was founded in 2003 as a Competitive Local Exchange Company (CLEC), with its main goal of providing affordable DSL high-speed internet service to Rural Maine, especially Western Penobscot and Southern Piscataquis counties and other such areas that were not served by either FairPoint, cable, or other ISPs.Because this is a unique service within the footprint of FairPoint, it has been a long process to make it happen. We are constantly expanding, so if you would like to know if we can serve you, contact us, and one of our friendly staff members will see what we can do for you.
Cornerstone will soon be expanding to provide phone service (business and residential) within most of our service area. We look forward to saving you a lot of money over your traditional phone service.
